- 1st Cochlear Implant in TMC was performed by Dr. Nathaniel Yang, section head of Neuro-Otology
- Significant increase in the number of microvacular & reconstructive surgeries - The Head and neck Reconstruction team of The Medical City has the highest number of cases among all private hospitals in the Philippines.
- Office based laryngeal procedures (Sensory Testing, Laryngoscopy using distal chip technology) in the Voice and Swallow Laboratory headed by Dra. Clarissa Fortuna
- The Sensory Testing is used to evaluate the integrity of the superior laryngeal nerve when we assess patients who are in danger of having aspiration. Our institution is the first in the country to offer use of this diagnostic equipment.
