Mr. Jose Xavier B. Gonzales

Chairman of the Board
Mr. Jose Xavier B. Gonzales serves as Chairman of The Medical City’s Board of Directors and of the Medical Arts Tower, Inc. He is also the Chairman and CEO of PSI Healthcare Development Services, Corp. He serves as Chairman and Director of Proser Health Services, Inc., The Medical City Clark, Inc. and The Medical City Iloilo Hospital, Inc.; He is also a Director of The Medical City South Luzon and Creative Hotel Concepts Inc. He is also Chairman and President of Felicitas Antoinette, Inc.; Chairman of The Nutriganics Farm, Incorporated; President of Universal Storefront Services Corporation and Fountel Corp.; and Chairman and Trustee of Akbay Ginhawa Foundation, Inc. Mr. Gonzales holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines where he graduated magna cum laude.

President and Group CEO
Dr. Eugenio Jose F. Ramos is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Medical City. He is also President of PSI Healthcare Development Services Corp. and the Medical Arts Tower, Inc. He is the Director of Proser Health Services Inc., The Medical City Clark, Inc., The Medical City Pangasinan, Inc., The Medical City Iloilo Hospital, Inc. and The Medical City South Luzon. He is the Chairman and Trustee of Philippine Foundation for Health and Development, Inc. and Trustee of Akbay Ginhawa Foundation, Inc. He is the former President of the Philippine College of Physicians. Dr. Ramos earned his medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 1980. He took up his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The Medical City (1980-1984), and his fellowship training in adult cardiology at the UP-PGH (1985-1986). He is a diplomate and fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) and of the Philippine College of Cardiology. He was awarded Distinguished Fellow of the PCP in 1999. Dr. Ramos obtained his MBA in Health at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) in 2008 (gold medalist). Dr. Ramos became PCP’s 45th president in 2009.

Dr. Ruben Kasala is the Treasurer Director of The Medical City and PSI Healthcare International Staffing, Inc. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer of The Medical City. He is Director of PSI Healthcare Development Services Corp., The Medical City Clark, Inc., Proser Health Services, Inc. and The Medical City Iloilo Hospital, Inc. He was the Training Officer of the Quirino Memorial Medical Center, and assistant Professor in the UERMMMC College of Medicine Department of Medicine.

Mr. Sean Gardiner

Mr. Sean Gardiner is a member of The Medical City’s Board of Directors. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Clermont Capital based in Singapore. He also worked in Morgan Stanley Equity Research as Head of Equity Research for South East Asia and ASEAN Equity Strategist across two locations - Singapore and Jakarta. He likewise sat on the Morgan Stanley Singapore ExCo and represented the equity research industry on the Singapore Capital Markets Committee. Mr. Gardiner is also a Director of Guam Healthcare Development, Inc.

Atty. Leroy James Langeveld

Atty. Leroy James Langeveld is a member of the Board of Directors of The Medical City and Guam Healthcare Development, Inc. He is also the Senior Legal Counsel of Clermont Capital based in Singapore. He worked as an Associate of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy LLP in Singapore and Simpson Grierson in New Zealand. He was admitted to the New York Bar and to the High Court of New Zealand. He is also a Director of PSI Healthcare Development Services Corp.

Mr. Brice Kevin Pua Cu

Mr. Brice Kevin Pua Cu is a member of The Medical City’s Board of Directors. He is also the Senior Managing Director of CVC Partners; Board Member of Landers Superstore (Southeastasia Retail Inc.) and Board Member of Fast Logistics Group.

Mr. Minki Brian Hong

Mr. Minki Brian Hong is a member of The Medical City’s Board of Directors. He is also the Managing Partner, South East Asia and Financial Services of CVC Asia Pacific Limited. He is also the Director of Asia Outsourcing Alpha Limited, Asia Outsourcing Beta Limited, Asia Outsourcing Gamma Limited, Montage Company Limited, CVC Asia Pacific Limited, Starlight TopCo Limited, Starlight Universe Limited, Southeastasia Retail Inc., Universal Healthcare Holding Inc., Asia Link Dewa Pte. Dr. Andrew Meadows

Andrew Meadows, PharmD, MHA, FACHE, is a member of The Medical City's Board of Directors. He is also the Industry Advisor at CVC Capital Partners and a Board Observer/Special Advisor at Phuong Chau Medical Group in Vietnam. Prior to this, Dr. Meadows' illustrious career included successfully navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic as an Interim Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer at City International Hospital in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. His experience also includes serving as a hospital surveyor with Joint Commission International (JCI), which was preceded by a 20-plus year career in the United States Air Force Medical Service where he achieved the rank of Colonel. He also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Mr. Boon-Kean Huan

Mr. Boon-Kean Huan, an esteemed member of The Medical City's Board of Directors, brings a wealth of leadership experience with a strong emphasis on Information Technology (IT) to our team. With a distinguished career that includes serving as the Chief Information Officer at the National Healthcare Group in Singapore for nearly four years, Mr. Huan has demonstrated his exceptional proficiency in IT strategy, management, and innovation. His expertise extends beyond the realm of healthcare, having also held significant roles in IT leadership at notable organizations such as Hewlett-Packard Financing and Toshiba for Asia Pacific. Mr. Huan's deep understanding of IT solutions and strategies makes him a valuable asset as we continue to advance our healthcare services and technology integration at The Medical City.

Mr. James John Bevans

Mr. James Bevans is a member of The Medical City’s Board of Directors. He has amassed a rich career in international hotel management and luxury residences, marked by key positions such as General Manager of Property Operations at Colliers Intl, District 8, Jakarta, Indonesia, General Manager at Plantation Urban Resort & Spa, Cambodia, and JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His journey also includes being the Group Director of Rooms at Wharf Hotels, Hong Kong, General Manager at Taal Vista Hotel, Philippines, and Huayu Resort & Spa, Sanya, China, Hotel Manager at Raffles and Fairmont Makati, Philippines, Resident Manager at Fairmont Beijing, Director of Rooms at Mandarin Oriental Beijing, The Peninsula Manila, Philippines, Grand Hyatt Amman, Jordan, and Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, India. Further, Mr. Bevans held corporate roles at Hyatt Intl Corp, Chicago IL, USA as Corporate Rooms Manager and Corporate Reservations Manager, showcasing his versatility and leadership in the global hospitality industry.

Ms. Rosalie Montenegro

Ms. Rose Montenegro is a member of The Medical City’s Board of Directors. Her distinguished career is marked by her role as President & CEO of Makati Medical Center. She also held executive positions as Senior Vice President at PLDT and President of its outsourcing companies ePLDT Ventus, Inc., Parlance Systems, Inc. and Vocativ Systems, Inc. She worked at the regional office of ABN AMRO in Singapore which standardized Call centers across its Asia Pacific Branches. She also led the due diligence team of Dutch Bank ABM AMRO in the purchase of Great Pacific Bank (formerly Bank of America) and other of the latter’s branches in Taiwan, India and Singapore. She likewise served as Vice President at Bayan Telecommunications, Inc. In the banking sector, her tenure at Citibank N.A. - Global Consumer Banking, Philippines, saw her serving in various capacities including VP for Service Quality launching phone banking in the Philippines with Citiphone Banking . Her early roles at Ford Philippines Inc. included Marketing Services Division Head and Advertising and Sales Promotion Manager, and Finance as a Profit & Pricing analyst, showcasing her versatile expertise across different operational and administrative domains and 5 different industries.

Mr. Wonbae Lee

Mr. Wonbae Lee is a member of The Medical City's Board of Directors. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2002. With a wealth of experience, Mr. Lee currently serves as Principal at CVC Capital Partners in Singapore, a position he has held since January 2018. Prior to this, he held significant roles at GE Healthcare, where he served as General Manager of Asia-Pacific for both Life Sciences and Core Imaging. His leadership journey also includes a tenure as General Manager in Japan and a noteworthy role as President of Indonesia for AstraZeneca. His career began with McKinsey & Company as a Consultant and has encompassed roles in asset management at Hudson Advisors, LLC, trading at Hyundai International Merchant Bank.
