The Employee Services Department or ESD headed by Ms Paz D Mendoza, is responsible for processing salary claculations, position management, appointment letters, and general human resource inquiries. Employee services officers recruit, train, and develop staff before early deployment. Part of their job is to look after the safety, welfare, and health of employees. They approve job descriptions as well as advertisements. Also, they organize training sessions and related activities for the staff. The ESD is composed of two groups. The Talent Acquisition and Compensation and Benefits.
Compensation and Benefits headed by Ms Kathrina Cagang is responsible for delivering facilitating employee benefits, rewards, attendance correction, uniforms, and assisting employees with their government needs. When it comes to government needs, Mrs Lilibeth Cardona facilitiates and liase government benefit applications of Medical City employees. She expedites and fast tracks applications to ensure the timely release needed by the employees. For attendance, Sir Mat Zuniga monitors and tracks the attendance of rank and file employees and assists employees with their attendance concerns. Another member of Compensation and Benefits is Ms Mavy Macabalitao. Mavy is responsible for processing the regularization of rank and file employees. On top of this, she also processes the certificate of employment of employees. She is also tasked of providing identification cards to newly hired employees. Lastly, Ms Cams Yamsuan, is responsible for the release of employee uniforms. She also processes parking application for employees and liase internally the supply needs of the department.
Meanwhile, Talent Acquisition headed by Sir Lanz Cataylo is responsible for being the first touchpoint of The Medical City with its future employees. Talent Acquisition facilitiates the sourcing and scouting of talents needed by the hospital, particularly for nurses, allied, and back office talents. Talent acqusition is responsible for articulating the to the labor market the benefits and potential of working with The Medical City. Talent Acquisition has three recruitment assocaites, namely Ms Nina Romualdo, Ms Maurice Ronquillo, and Ms Mariella Tolention. Ms Nina is responsible for the recruitment of nurses, particularly under acute care. While Ms Mau is responsible for for the recuritment of nurses for the General Nursing Unit for bedside and as well as nurses for other institute. When it comes to allied and back office recruitment, Ms Mariella is tasked in creating a solid pool of talents that is readily available to ensure that allied support for our nurses and back office operations are continous and functional. Being the touchpoint of The Medical City, Talent Acqusition also holds responsibility for the social media recruitment page of the department.
