Training
Aside from its clinical endeavors, the institute accepts trainees yearly. It offers a private hospital-based four-year Residency Training Program, which has been accredited by the Philippine Board of Otolaryngology since 1996. Its goal is to train resident physicians to be competitive and world-class ENT doctors who are knowledgeable and armed with state-of-the-art and world class skills, and who are compassionate, conscientious, and service-oriented.
Research
Another advocacy of the institute is to provide academic and professional advancement in the field of ENT-HNS through research and Continuing Medical Education (CME). The involvement of consultants and residents in workshops and seminars has been highly encouraged in order to promote the utilization of data for the improvement of patient care and other aspects of the department.
