Singer-songwriter and writer Adrienne "Adjeng" Buenaventura shares her recent experience at The Medical City Ortigas. What she thought as "tiresome and stressful" turned out to be something extraordinarily fun!
It was my first time to do the stress echo in the hospital, and admittedly I was a little nervous. But I was determined to complete an overall checkup for my health, just to have peace of mind.
Lo and behold, my faithful God sent me a Sonologist-nurse and another nurse who put me at ease…and who both love BTS! I think they saw my Cooky ponytail holder, and that sparked the BTS conversation, haha!
And take note, one of them even went on Spotify to play “Dynamite” and “Butter” as I ran on the treadmill during my stress echo test.
Went through the stress echo test in what seemed like a breeze as we discussed topics like the BTS Meal, the Cajun and Sweet Chili Sauces, Sowoozoo, our biases, and yes, even “In The SOOP” and “Bon Voyage.”
I walked out of the hospital with a spring in my step and a smile on my face. Ahhh, the power of ARMY. Just talking about BTS really gives off good vibes!
Received my results, and everything is wonderfully well… (Thank You Lord God, for good health!)
What could’ve been a tiresome set of blood tests and a stressful stress test at the hospital turned out to be an avenue to meet new friends…all of them fellow BTS ARMY!
Met a couple of heroes in scrub suits the other day. Just like BTS, they are hardworking and thoughtful and kind. It feels good to stan the biggest K-pop group in the world, who aren’t just talented, but also are wonderful human beings… and who have amazing, kind-hearted fans too! Proud BTS ARMY here! #ARMYlife
